Finally!!!

So, I realize that I started this blog almost 2 years ago and this is only the 3rd post. I told Llyr that I would be better about the blog when we had kids to show off. It's not as much fun to show off just us. 2011 was a great year. We finished up in Vail, CO and moved to Utah. Llyr is finishing up at BYU and will graduate in just 5 weeks!!!! (Finally...) I am working at the University of Utah Orthopaedic Center with Dr. Burks and Dr. Greis. I love my job and feel so lucky that we were able to find a job in Utah. Llyr hasn't needed to work much and so he has rocked his classes. When he finishes in April, he will start working at Deseret 1st Credit Union doing whatever they need done. He's going to get a lot of experience in Marketing, Human Resources, Accounting, Management, etc... It will be great experience before heading off to get his MBA. We are thinking about going back to Boise for that. I am really excited for that chance to head home and be with family. (Llyr and I are so blessed to have the best family in the world, both sides.)

We have spent a lot of our time skiing these last two years and so I will try to post some of our pictures of that, so we have some of those memories documented. We love to ski together. Llyr is getting really good and I'm doing my best to keep up with him. (Boys are so lucky that athletics just come to them even though I've been skiing 10 years longer than he has.)

My little brother, Tucker, and Llyr's little brother, Robert is going to come next week for their spring break. I am excited to have Tuck and Robert come and spend some time with us. Tucker and Llyr will go skiing. (Robert might get talked into skiing as well, but we'll see.)

(Llyr had hip surgery June 2011 to repair his torn labrum and his hip impingement. He was on crutches for 3 weeks and was mostly compliant. He only told the doctor 1 time that he wasn't going to wear the brace that the doctor designed.) This picture is of us on the top of Independence Pass. It sits at 12,000 + feet in elevation. We loved it in Colorado.
